The Odikro of Gomoa Mankessim in the Gomoa West District of the Central Region, Nana Kwaw Tutu V, has commended National Democratic Congress parliamentary aspirant, Captain Blessed Godsbrain Smart, for his developmental projects across the Gomoa West Constituency.

Speaking to the media, Nana Kwaw Tutu V said the media personality is currently undertaking various developmental projects across the district, including health centers, school buildings, mechanized boreholes, teachers’ bungalows, and nurses’ quarters.
He added that Captain Smart is currently constructing a 6-unit classroom block, a health center, and nurses’ quarters at Gomoa Mankessim as part of his commitment to the development of the community.
The Odikro noted that Gomoa Mankessim is in dire need of potable drinking water. As part of efforts to address the water crisis, Captain Smart has drilled a mechanized borehole for the community.
Nana Kwaw Tutu v made this known during Gomoa Mankessim Ahorbaakese festival in the Gomoa West District of the Central Region.
The Abusuapayin of Gomoa Mankessim, Nana Kwame Oppong, said the entire Gomoa Mankessim community is fully behind Captain Smart due to the massive developmental projects he is undertaking.
According to him, the community had planned to build a health center, but through Captain Smart’s intervention, the project is now being undertaken for them.
He appealed to NDC delegates in the Gomoa West Constituency to consider Captain Smart as a development-oriented leader and vote for him to become the Member of Parliament to enable him to continue his good work for the constituency.
The Deputy Organizer for the Gomoa West Constituency, Sampson Edwin, popularry known as Osama, has urged delegates to vote for Captain Smart to avoid losing the Gomoa West parliamentary seat to the NPP in the 2028 general elections.
According to him, the current Member of Parliament, Richard Gyan-Mensah, has performed abysmally, and it would be difficult to retain the seat if the party presents him again.
He listed several developmental projects Captain Smart has undertaken within two months in the Gomoa West Constituency.
