Ghana and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have strengthened their educational cooperation, marking a renewed commitment to enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
The development was announced by Ghana’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, H.E. Alhaji Said Sinare, following a courtesy call on the Deputy Minister of Education of Saudi Arabia.
Their discussions focused on expanding opportunities for Ghanaian students to access quality education in Saudi Arabia, as well as exploring potential support for the establishment of a university in the northern part of Ghana.
In a Facebook post, the Ambassador reaffirmed his commitment to deepening the long-standing relationship between Ghana and Saudi Arabia, noting that Ghana is actively pursuing partnerships aimed at creating more opportunities for its youth.
He emphasized that such collaborations are key to improving educational access and development prospects for young people.
Ghana and Saudi Arabia have maintained years of diplomatic and cooperative relations, with both countries expressing optimism about future areas of partnership, particularly in education and capacity building.
