The MP’s performance will not only be assessed by his visibility in the Constituency, but the work he accomplishes within his 4-year mandate – Communication Officer

Hon. Eric Yeboah Kyeremeh, Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Dormaa Central Constituency, has rejected the ongoing calls for the presence of the Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. Dr. John Kwame Adu Jack, in the Constituency, articulated through the sentiment “We don’t see our MP.”
He emphasized that the assessment of the MP’s performance after his four-year term should not be based solely on his availability and visibility within the Constituency, but rather on his accomplishments and achievements. He urged constituents to shift their focus from demanding the MP’s presence to advocating for development and progress.
Mr. Kyeremeh pointed out that the Dormaa Central Constituency comprises 105 communities, which means not all residents will be aware of the MP’s presence if he does not visit their specific community. He underscored that the MP has been actively visiting Dormaa Ahenkro to undertake various developmental projects, reiterating that the evaluation of the MP’s performance should be based on his output rather than his physical presence.
Furthermore, Hon. Eric Yeboah Kyeremeh expressed pride in the accomplishments of the Dormaa Central MP, Hon. Dr. John Kwame Adu Jack, noting that a comparison of his achievements over the past one year and six months with those of previous MPs from Dormaa Central during the same timeframe is unparalleled. He highlighted that within this period, the MP has facilitated numerous projects, including a 30-bed capacity health facility, a 15-bed capacity health facility, the establishment of a permanent Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) office in Dormaa Ahenkro, and the completion of various GETFund projects among many others stressing that these initiatives serve as a testament to the exceptional performance of Hon. Dr. John Kwame Adu Jack during his tenure, particularly in comparison to his predecessors in the Dormaa Central parliamentary seat.
The Communications Officer acknowledged that while the Municipality has not fully realized all necessary developments, the Member of Parliament (MP) has made significant strides in facilitating progress for the Constituency.
He emphasized that roads construction within the Municipality poses a considerable challenge for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), particularly with Aboabo Road, PAAM Road, Asensu Road, and Amasu Road remaining unattended. He underscored that the completion of these roads would not only benefit commuters but would also enhance the NDC’s standing as a political party.
Consequently, he urged residents to exercise patience as the MP and relevant stakeholders work diligently to ensure the construction of these and other roads for the benefit of the Dormaa Central Constituency and the NDC party.
