The Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Awutu Senya West, Chairman Captain Kojo Anderson, has appealed to Branch members in the constituency to retain hardworking branch executives during the ongoing branch elections.
According to him, branch executives who worked tirelessly to help the party secure victory and retain the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West, Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, deserve another opportunity to continue serving the party.
Chairman Anderson referenced the position of the National Chairman of the NDC, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, emphasizing that dedicated party executives who contributed significantly to the party’s electoral success should be maintained to help secure another victory in the 2028 general elections.
He noted that although the NDC won the 2024 elections, many party supporters are still awaiting employment opportunities. He therefore urged delegates not to replace hardworking executives but rather support them to continue building the party’s strength in the constituency.
Chairman Anderson made these remarks in an interview with TV XYZ News reporter Alex Donkoh during the commencement of the NDC branch elections in the Awutu Senya West Constituency.
He further appealed to NDC youth in the constituency to remain calm and patient, assuring them that efforts are underway to create more employment opportunities for young people and reduce the burden on their parents.
