BKB’s Report

A man is in critical condition after he was allegedly attacked by suspected landguards at Nyanyano Kassim City in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

The victim, identified as Patrick Pejo, said the suspects — known as UN, Mohammed, and Saliki — stormed his work site and attacked him without provocation. He alleged that one of them struck him on the head with a metal object, causing severe bleeding.

Mr. Pejo was rushed to the Nyanyano Health Center for emergency treatment and is currently receiving care.

The victim, Mr. Patrick has been speaking to the media explaining his ordeal to the media.

Residents say the suspected landguards have been terrorising the community by attacking people, seizing building materials, and preventing land development. They claim such activities had reduced but have recently resurfaced, creating fear and insecurity.

The residents are calling on the President, the IGP, the Gomoa East MP, and the DCE to take immediate action to curb the activities of the suspected landguards.
