AAK to witness massive road development – Kwakye Ofosu
Felix Kwakye Ofosu, MP for Abura Asebu Kwamankese (AAK) Constituency and Minister of Communication, has announced major road upgrades in his area under President John Dramani Mahama’s administration.
He criticized the prior NPP government for neglecting roads there during their eight-year tenure, promising all deplorable routes will be fixed before Mahama’s term ends.
During a sod-cutting ceremony,Kwakye Ofosu highlighted ongoing construction work already underway.
He committed to fulfilling all campaign pledges on roads using the government’s common fund, aiming to ease travel woes for drivers and boost local development.
Kwakye Ofosu won the AAK seat for NDC in the 2024 elections, prioritizing road construction to link communities and stimulate economic activity.
Earlier statements from 2025 also outlined plans for specific roads like a 6km stretch in the district capital and others totaling over 20km.
