Courts in the USA and UK have concluded their investigations into the Airbus scandal, which implicated Government Official 1, identified as former President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama.
However, according to the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP), the courts found no evidence of corruption-related activities, bribery, or wrongdoing against him.
The investigation centered on allegations of corruption and bribery in the purchase of Airbus aircraft by the Government of Ghana during Mahama’s presidency.
Despite being named as Government Official 1 in the scandal, Mahama has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
The OSP has confirmed that the courts’ findings exonerate Mahama of any corruption-related activities, bringing an end to the investigation and clearing his name.”
