Election 2024: Let’s exercise our franchise devoid of contraventions – Chief Imam advocates
The Dormaa Central Municipal Chief Imam Sheik Zakaria Ibrahim has admonished parties and stakeholders in the upcoming general election to enhance peaceful coexistence as far as the 2024 elections are concerned.
Speaking with Newsmen, he urged flagbearers of the various political parties and their respective supporters to go to the polls without any form of conflicts and chaos to maintain the peace we share as a nation.
He referenced that God is the installer of Leaders, therefore all the candidates must use the right means to seek victory by following the will of God rather than using foul means that will subsequently affect the peace and serenity of the country.
Chief Imam Sheik Zakaria Ibrahim charged security agencies to maintain law and order stressing that journalists, traditional authorities, clergymen, Imams and the Electoral Commission must put up efforts to ensure a successful election.
