𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗜𝗫 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗛 𝗔𝗗𝗪𝗢𝗔 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗢 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚

The Ghana Police Service has arrested six private security guards in connection with the shooting incident involving former Dome-Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Safo, at Kwabenya on June 21, 2026.

According to the Police, a search operation led to the recovery of five pump-action guns, a Taurus pistol with ammunition, and communication equipment.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the armed security personnel allegedly discharged firearms during the incident, injuring Adwoa Safo and damaging her vehicle.

The suspects, together with the retrieved exhibits, have been transferred to the Police Headquarters as investigations continue.
