The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Co-operative Credit Union Limited, Buduburam Branch, is hosting its Annual Open Forum today, October 8, 2025, at Buduburam.

This event forms part of the credit union’s ongoing efforts to engage with its members and the community β€” offering a platform for education, discussion, and feedback.

The UEW Co-operative Credit Union, established in November 1994 with just 28 members, now serves over 30,000 customers across six branches, providing savings, loans, and investment services.

Speaking at the event, CEO Madam Christina Kilson emphasized that the credit union exists to help everyone β€” both youth and adults β€” achieve their financial dreams.

β€œThis Credit Union is here to help everyone achieve their dreams, whether young or old,” she said.

The Branch Manager of the Buduburam Branch, Mr. StephenΒ  Krankye, also encouraged the public to join, noting that membership is open to all genders and professions.

β€œThis Credit Union is for everyone β€” not just market women. Whether you are a man or woman, you are welcome,” he stated.
