The Volta Regional Command, known as the “Oxygen Command,” marked International Firefighters Day (IFFD) by donating food items worth GHC 4,000.00 to the Three Kings Special School for the Blind at Adidome in North Tongu District.
This act of generosity highlighted the Command’s dedication to community welfare and inclusivity. During the visit, students impressed visitors by demonstrating their Braille reading and writing skills with the braid and stylus, showcasing their determination and resilience.
The Oxygen Command’s heartfelt donation and the students’ demonstrations made the 2024 IFFD celebrations in the Volta Region memorable, fostering unity and compassion within the community.
