Speaking candidly, TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD said he would be “surprised” if Jurgen Klopp became the new manager of England.

After nearly nine years as Liverpool’s manager, the German announced at the close of the previous season that he felt worn out.

Trent Alexander-Arnold discussed his opinions regarding Jurgen Klopp’s connection to England.

This summer, Klopp departed Liverpool due to “fatigue.”

Since Gareth Southgate left England, he has been connected to the position.

However, Alexander-Arnold thinks his former boss would take a little longer break before going back into management.

“I would be surprised if he did take it,” he said to The Mirror.

It would be a major surprise because it was evident from his departure announcement, our talks, and everything on social media that he was enjoying his vacation.

Alexander-Arnold is going through a significant transition this summer, having earned his debuts for both England and Liverpool under Southgate and Klopp, respectively.

He expressed his gratitude to Southgate by saying the former Three Lions manager should be given more dignity and recognition for leading England to two big finals.

“It was similar to how I felt when my club manager Jurgen Klopp was leaving,” the defender continued. They were the ones who fulfilled my aspirations and gave me my stage debuts.

“All I can do is express my gratitude for all of the chances I’ve had and the experiences we’ve had together. Yes, I believe Gareth is underappreciated.

“I believe that managing England is one of the most difficult positions out there. People will always have opinions, there will always be rumors, and you will always be judged.

“However, everyone can see how he has led the team and created a positive environment for the players. Everyone joined together as a team and there was harmony, although every manager receives criticism.

“He handled it in an amazing way, and once more, he led us to the championship.”

Although Eddie Howe of Newcastle and Graham Potter are the front-runners to succeed Southgate, Klopp is not one of the favorites.

Thomas Tuchel has entered the running to be the temporary England manager, but according to SunSport, Lee Carsely is the front-runner.
