Reports in various sections of the media suggest that former captain of the Ghana Men National Team, Stephen Appiah is lacing his boots to contest for the Ayawaso West Wugon seat as Member of Parliament.
The Ex-footballer, according to Fiifi Tachie who runs Public Relations for most footballers in the country will be contesting the seat as an Independent candidate.
He will be coming up against John Dumelo and Lydia Alhassan who have already started their campaign, especially on the various campuses in the constituency.
Stephen Appiah is, however, yet to make the public announcement of his decision.
The former Black Stars captain will add to the number of famous people in Ghana who want to be in Parliament to represent their constituents.
