Black Stars forward Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer has expressed satisfaction with his impressive performance in the German Bundesliga II this season. The 22-year-old scored his third goal of the campaign in Hamburger SV’s 1-1 draw against Hertha Berlin, marking another strong showing.

Konigsdorffer gave his team an early lead, but Hamburger SV couldn’t hold on as Jonjoe Kenny equalized for Hertha Berlin with just four minutes remaining.

“We dominated the first half both offensively and defensively,” Konigsdorffer said post-match. “In the second half, we were a bit more passive and may have focused too much on preserving our lead. We’ve learned a lesson from this and need to improve next time. It’s disappointing not to secure all three points, but four points is acceptable, even if we’d have preferred six.”

The striker also praised his manager for the trust placed in him to lead the attack from the season’s outset. “I’m grateful for the confidence the gaffer has shown in me and aim to repay it with strong performances. It’s great to develop as a player through gaining more experience,” he added.
