I will enhance women’s empowerment and the development of Jaman North district – Mrs. Linda Nyarko Yeboah

Mrs. Linda Nyarko Yeboah, a philanthropist and the CEO of Abronoma Foundation, an NGO that seeks to empower women and promote girl-child education in Ghana has on Thursday, July 20, 2023, picked her nomination forms to contest in the NPP parliamentary primaries in the Jaman North district of the Bono region.

She is currently the only woman among the number of men who are aspiring for the Parliamentary candidature in the district.

Speaking with pressmen in an interview, Mrs. Linda Nyarko Yeboah pleaded with delegates to help her succeed in the upcoming primaries and subsequently the general election to improve the welfare of women and the development of the Jaman North district at large.

She implored all and sundry who need the development of Jaman North district and believe in women’s empowerment to support her Parliamentary candidature and subsequently Member of Parliament ambitions because she has a great intention to progress the district from grass to grace indicating that the district lacks a lot in terms of development as compared to it twin districts hence the need for a woman to take over the mantle to ensure what the men could not do are well executed to enhance the growth of the district.

Mrs. Linda Nyarko Yeboah explaining her abilities and capabilities towards her member of parliament ambition denoted that parliament is a house of people with wisdom and credible behavior who can take part in the effective decision-making of the country and so she possesses all the qualities that qualify her to represent her people in parliament to bargain for better leaving condition for her constituents and effective developmental agenda for the constituency.

She added that it is about time we give many opportunities for more women to be part of decision-making in the country to bridge the gap of gender inequality and also facilitate the adequate welfare of women and the girl-Child.
