According to reports, Tammy Abraham and Jose Mourinho will be departing Roma at the end of the current campaign.

After moving to the Italian capital in 2021, the former manager of Chelsea and Manchester United guided his new team to victory in the Europa Conference League during his first season there.

Jose Mourinho and Tammy Abraham are reportedly planning to depart Roma in the summer.

The previous season, he led them to the Europa League final, but Roma’s start to the current campaign has been lackluster.

The 60-year-old Mourinho’s contract at the Stadio Olimpico expires in June 2024, and it doesn’t appear like he will be sticking around after that.

The Portuguese coach is “set to leave once his contract expires,” according to TeamTalk, and his exit “will usher in a new era” in Rome.

Additionally, they assert that “many players will follow him out the door,” with 26-year-old England international striker Abraham among them.

One of Mourinho’s first hires after taking over at Chelsea, the academy graduate has scored 25 goals for the team in 75 Serie A games.

According to this most recent update, he “loves playing under Mourinho” and is “keen on a return to the Premier League.” Should the manager leave, sources reportedly told the publication that he “would be happy to call time on Italy next summer and return to England.”

Romelu Lukaku is currently on loan from Chelsea, and Roma is reportedly eager to extend the deal.

Furthermore, Abraham is reportedly “open to being involved in a potential swap” and rejoining the squad he played on as a youngster.

Ever since selling him to Roma, Chelsea has kept tabs on his development.

To sign him, though, they might have to contend with fierce competition.

The former loanee of Swansea City and Aston Villa is reportedly on the wish lists of several other Premier League teams for their summer transfer window.
