COP Tetteh Yohuno appointed Deputy IGP

The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has appointed COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno as Deputy Inspector General of Police.

A statement from the Jubilee House said the appointment is pursuant to the advice of the Police Council in its meeting held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

COP Yohuno will be in charge of Operations in the Ghana Police Service.

Prior to this appointment, COP Tetteh Tohuno was the Director General in Charge of Administration in the Ghana Police Service.

He is expected to bring his wealth of experience, having occupied various positions in the Ghana Police Service.
