Citizens of Abrikasu, a suburb of the Jaman south municipality in the Bono region living abroad have realized the need to support their community with a health center to facilitate effective health delivery and have therefore cut sod for the construction of a modern health center for the entire Abrikasu community.

Speaking to Mr. Frank Owusu, one of the emigrants in an interview with Angel News, he indicated that their decision to construct a health center in the Abrikasu community was triggered by the bad and poor road network linking their community to Drobo, the municipal capital which always put the lives of the people in danger when there is health emergency.

He emphasized that the Health Center after its completion will enhance quality healthcare delivery to prevent unforeseen circumstances that may unfold as a result of the road network and other factors that delay the movement of emergency health cases to the municipal capital.

Nana Bae Acheampong, Chief of Aberekesu expressed gratitude to the emigrants for the kind gesture indicating that the project after its actualization will go a long way to help his people in terms of health care delivery.

On her part, Madam Hannah Donkor, the health information officer of the Abirikasu clinic conveyed words of appreciation to the Abirikasu citizens living abroad for supporting health delivery in the community and expressed their maximum support for the course of the project.
