A baby girl, 3 months old, has been abandoned by an unknown mother in a bush at Gomoa Akraman, a town in the Central region.
Eyewitnesses say they heard the cry of the baby from the bush when they had closed from a site they were working at.
Upon rushing to the scene, the workers say they found the baby on a bench they have been using to bend steel at the site.
The matter has been reported to the police whilst the baby has been handed over to the social welfare.
Meanwhile, the mother of the baby was yet to be found as at the time this report was being filed.
