A fire outbreak in Nsawam Adoagyiri Zongo has left four single rooms burnt, with properties destroyed and a pregnant woman collapsing.
According to the Assembly man for the community Hon Abubakar Ibrahim Commander, he said when he heard the fire outbreak, he quickly went to the Nsawam fire station and was told they have a problem so they will be assisted by the Medie Kotoku fire station.
He added that over Gh¢15,000 physical cash and some CFA’s got burnt so they are pleading with the government to help repair the vehicle for Nsawam fire station to save lives and properties.
The Medie Kotoku fire station was called in to assist the victims because the Nsawam fire station had a problem with their fire tender. ADO2 Mensah Ebenezer said.
He added that, a lot of properties has already been burnt with no casualties recorded. Investigations are ongoing to find out the cause of the fire.
The victims and eyewitnesses speaking to Fawe Fm reporter Kwame Adom Spaniard says they don’t know the cause of the fire, but they saw the smoke and fire and quickly attended to the scene.
