Kwadwo Afful, 30, was beaten to death at Sehwi Ahibenso in the Bodi district of the Western North region after he refused to provide his supervisor an account of some packets of Indian hemp ‘wee’ he purchased.
He was gang-beaten, and on May 18, 2023, in the morning, his lifeless body was placed on Ahibenso’s main streets.
Daniel Kwasi Tawiah, the deceased’s grandfather, confirmed the incident to Emmanuel Sowah of Onua News. He said he saw a crowd on the street and went to see what had happened, only to learn that some ghetto guys had beaten his grandchild to death for failing to account for some wee he was given to sell by one of them.
He claimed that he called the police at Bodi right away, and that they then picked up his body and took it to the morgue at the Juaboso Government Hospital to await further inquiry.
Oliver Ackah, the deceased’s brother, has stated that the family will see to it that all of the offenders are prosecuted.
He disclosed that people who beat and then killed his brother were well-known in the neighborhood.
