The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Bia West District Assembly, Hon. Bernard Gyedu Blay, has donated 50 bags of Cement to the Muslim community in Sefwi Yawmatwa.
The donation is aimed at supporting the Muslim community in the construction of the Yawmatwa Central Mosque.
Hon. Bernard Blay was in the company of the Bia West New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency secretary, Mr. Richard Ben Dadzie and the Bia West NPP constituency Youth Organiser Mr. Fosu Blankson, when donating.
Hon. Bernard Blay says the donation forms part of his goals to connect with individuals and groups in various communities and he believes his donation will create a bond of good faith and development.
“One of my goals is to connect with individuals and groups in various communities, and with such gestures, I strongly believe that my little effort will go a long way toward creating a bond of good faith and development,”
Yawmatwa Muslim community said the items came at an appropriate time and pledged that they would be used for the intended purpose.
