Berekum Chelsea tactician Christopher Ennin expressed no surprise at the exceptional performance of his striker, Kalo Ouattara, in their recent 3-0 victory over Kotoko at the Golden City Park on Friday, April 14, 2023.
Kalo was a standout player in the game, scoring twice with powerful headers that left Kotoko goalkeeper, Danlad Ibrahim, with no chance of saving. Collins Ameyaw provided the assists for both goals, delivering precise crosses that Kalo expertly headed home. The first goal came in the 50th minute, followed by his second in the 63rd minute.
Patrick Ansu sealed the victory for Berekum Chelsea with a goal in the 85th minute, securing the team’s comprehensive win.
Speaking to StarTimes in a post-match interview, Coach Ennin credited Kalo’s performance to his hard work on the training ground.
“Yes, he is coming because I am working on him personally. After the team training, he is personally working with me the whole week so I’m not surprised he put in that great performance. So I’m just hoping that he continues,” revealed Coach Ennin.
It is evident that Coach Ennin has been working closely with Kalo Ouattara to refine his skills, and the results were on display in the match against Kotoko.
