A speeding car has crushed an Assembly member on a motorbike to death at Somanya in the Yilo Krobo Municipality in the Eastern region.
The fatal crash occurred Monday, April 10, 2023, in front of the Kings Pizza stretch of the Somanya township road.
According to eyewitnesses, the Sra Electoral Area Assembly member was riding a motorbike on the road when the speeding vehicle knocked him off the motorbike killing him instantly after severe head injury.
The body has since been deposited at the morgue.
Meanwhile, the Somanya Police are yet to confirm if the driver has been arrested.
