The Ghana Education Service has opened the WAEC portal for the 2026 Senior High School placement process, giving schools a four-day period to submit students’ selection information.
The portal opening forms part of preparations towards the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS).
Heads of Junior High Schools have been given the opportunity to capture and submit candidates’ school choices within the approved period.
GES has urged school authorities to ensure that all information provided is accurate to prevent challenges during the placement process.
Education authorities say the exercise is aimed at ensuring a smooth transition of BECE graduates into Senior High Schools across the country.
