“GBC/GTV’s Acquisition of Ghana Premier League Broadcasting Rights is a Positive Move, Says Spydakovic”
During a discussion on Ideal 96.7 FM’s morning show, Spydakovic expressed his support for the decision to grant television broadcasting rights for the Ghana Premier League to GBC/GTV. He described the move as a positive step forward, highlighting its potential to reignite public interest in the league.
Spydakovic pointed out that the Ghana Premier League has been struggling with low attendance and dwindling interest, largely due to limited access to broadcasts. “Many fans don’t have the opportunity to watch the matches because the previous broadcasters required decoders that not everyone could afford,” he explained.
With GBC/GTV now holding the rights, Spydakovic believes that more people will have access to live games, which could help revive enthusiasm for the league and increase attendance at matches.
