On August 17th, 2024, Graceland Academy located in Kasoa Iron City, marked a significant milestone with its 18th anniversary and graduation ceremony. The event, themed “Building Tomorrow’s Leaders: Empowering Young People Through Education,” was a resounding success, showcasing the talents and achievements of its students.
The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including the Chief Inspector Rowland Adzo – Station Officer Ngleshie Amanfro Police Station ,Rev. Esmond .W. Nagba – Past District Minister Of The Presbyterian Church Of Ghana (New Aplaku District) & Former Head Master Of Graceland Academy, and other notable personalities.
The students of Graceland Academy stole the show with their impressive performances, which included modeling, cultural dance,Taekwondo & cadet display, recitals and others.
In addition to the performances, the students also exhibited their entrepreneurial skills by displaying items such as school bags, photoframes, pastries, and local drinks like sobolo, all made by them. The exhibition demonstrated the school’s commitment to empowering its students with practical skills.
The highlight of the ceremony was the graduation of students who completed their Junior High School education. The students were awarded certificates in recognition of their hard work and achievement. Outstanding students and teachers were also recognized and awarded for their exceptional performances and dedication.
