Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) running mate also known as NAPO, has praised the Akufo-Addo-led administration for surpassing all previous Ghanaian governments in terms of achievements. Speaking at the Ashanti Regional NPP Campaign Working Committees and Women’s Conference in Kumasi, Dr. Prempeh underscored the administration’s notable accomplishments across various sectors.
He highlighted the construction of 111 hospitals, the establishment of numerous schools and universities, and the hiring of over 200,000 nurses, doctors, and teachers. Dr. Prempeh also pointed out the administration’s efforts during crises, including distributing free food, light, and water, and increasing the LEAP (Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty) program benefits.
Dr. Prempeh emphasized his confidence that Dr. Bawumia, the NPP’s presidential candidate, will build upon these achievements and do even more if elected. He urged party members to support the NPP in the 2024 general elections to continue the progress made under President Akufo-Addo.
