Former Asante Kotoko defender, Richard Osei Agyemang has emphatically stated that there is no player in the Ghana Premier League who is financially sound.

Richard Osei Agyemnag speaking with Tony Muntana on Kessben TV stressed that due to a lack of proper salary cap in the Ghana premier league for players, player exodus will continue to mar Ghana’s elite football league.

He bemoaned that players are forced to move out from Ghana to play in not-so-popular football countries due to meager salaries in Ghana.

According to the former Ashgold player, there is no single player who plays in the Ghana premier league who is financially sound.

“Elsewhere, the signing-on-fees of players in Ghana are like the salaries of their players. They should pay the players here well for them to stay. At least players should be earning around GHC10,000.

“There is no player in the Ghana Premier League who is rich. There is no one, I tell you. I dare anyone to come out” He said.
