On Friday, 19th July 2024, Graceland Academy ,a private basic institution located in Iron-City, Kasoa embarked on its much-anticipated annual educational and fun trip, Graceland Expeditions 2024. This year’s excursion took students, staff, parents, old students, and the broader Graceland community to two significant locations: the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and the Legon Botanical Gardens, along with two surprise destinations.

Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park
Students had the opportunity to delve into Ghana’s rich history at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. They explored the museum and monuments dedicated to Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. The visit offered an invaluable educational experience, allowing students to learn about the pivotal role Dr. Nkrumah played in Ghana’s journey to independence.
