Mohammed Kudus has voiced his enthusiasm for West Ham United’s new head coach, Julen Lopetegui, highlighting the alignment between his playing style and the manager’s philosophy.
Lopetegui, who took over from David Moyes at the end of last season, has ushered in a new approach at the club.
Despite initial concerns about how Kudus might adapt to the new style, the Ghana international is optimistic about the direction in which Lopetegui is taking the team.
“The way Lopetegui wants to play is how I want to play,” Kudus told West Ham United’s official website. “He allows a lot of freedom, which is important for me as a winger. I’m excited about the opportunity to express myself and contribute to the team’s success.”
Kudus, who enjoyed a stellar season under Moyes, scored 14 goals across all competitions. His standout performances were a key highlight for the Hammers, who are now preparing for their pre-season tour in the United States.
The 23-year-old midfielder’s positive outlook on Lopetegui’s coaching methods underscores his eagerness to continue his impressive form and help West Ham achieve their goals for the new season.
