Recent reports confirm a tragic discovery in Kakpagyili, a suburb of Tamale in the Northern region, where the bodies of four missing children have been found. The owner of the house where the children were discovered has been arrested and is currently in police custody pending further investigations.
According to an eyewitness account shared with MyNewsGh.com, the children had gone missing several days ago, prompting a search by local youths which initially yielded no results. Desperate for answers, the parents consulted a soothsayer from Savelugu who indicated that the children were located in the suspect’s residence.
Subsequently, community members mobilized and confronted the suspect at his house. Fearing for his safety, the suspect called the police, who intervened to protect him and his family from the enraged crowd.
On June 30, 2024, the police returned to the suspect’s house accompanied by him and conducted a thorough search, leading to the grim discovery of the children’s bodies in a specific room.
The police have since transported the deceased children, along with the suspect, to the police station as investigations into the tragic incident continue.
