Below is the birthday tribute:
BIRTHDAY ALERT!
Some friends are for seasons, some are for moments, but yours has been and will be for a lifetime.
Our journey began many years ago in secondary school when I became your school father, and you became my guardian angel, prayer partner, caretaker, and key adviser.
Your unwavering concern for my daily life, the attire I wore, the food I ate, and the plate I ate on – the list is endless, cannot be overstated.
One day, you walked up to me and said,
“B.I.C., I had a dream about you, but I have been hesitant to tell you. However, I am uncomfortable in my spirit, so even though I won’t tell you the dream, I will tell you what God will do in about your future.”
I was curious to know, for I trust in your integrity and dreams. Besides, it was during one of the most difficult moment in my life when I did not even know how I was going to get money to pay for my final year examination.
And then you continued to say,
“You will pass your final exams with excellent grades, and you will go to university,” the Lord says. However, the Lord says you should never forget to do his work because he has called you and will see you through.”
Then you warned again, “Be careful you don’t forget to do the ministry of God when God lifts you up.”
That was in 2004, and here we are in 2024. How time flies, but with fond memories and great moments to look back on and say indeed, Idi Yompo!
Now, all that you said has come to pass, and on top of it, you became the first person to sow a seed of 1000 cement blocks to commence the construction of the first temple of the Anathallo Chapel Int.
Besides, you’ve been an integral part of my life, my family, and partner to my NGO, Oracle Village Foundation. What a unique person you are. I celebrate you from the deepest part of my heart.
You are a good example of friendship beyond words and a sibling beyond the umbilical cord.
Happy birthday, Mrs. Addo A-Afful Ellen. Much love, my Sister In Christ.
