According to rumors in Brazil, CHELSEA is ready to make a significant bid for 17-year-old Estevao Willian of Brazil.

The wonderkid might fetch a further £21 million in add-ons, but the club is willing to pay £25.5 million for him initially.

Willian has played for Palmeiras in 12 games.

Because of his extraordinary talent, Willian, a teenage player for Palmeiras, has been dubbed “Messinho”—after Lionel Messi.

Despite the fact that he plays on the wing, people still refer to him by his real name, Messinho.

Brazilian media source Chelsea is reportedly “strongly” in the running for Willian, according to UOL, although Palmeiras should expect proposals from a number of elite teams.

Additionally, the article states that Chelsea’s two previous attempts to sign Willian were unsuccessful.

A graduate of Palmeiras’ academy, Willian is a teammate of Endrick, who will soon play for Real Madrid.

At the age of sixteen, Endrick accepted a transfer price of up to £50 million to join Real Madrid in December 2022.

Like the newest player to come off Palmeiras’ assembly line, Willian is receiving the same amount of anticipation as Madrid’s newest golden kid.

That suggests that Palmeiras would wait for a bidding war to break out before accepting Chelsea’s most recent offer, which could be as high as £47 million.

Willian won’t be able to move until the summer of next year, when he turns 18, according to work laws.

Similar circumstances faced Real Madrid when they attempted to sign Endrick, who they had to wait until this summer to sign.

Having spent most of his career in the Palmeiras academy, Willian has participated in 12 senior games for the team.

Since taking over Chelsea, Todd Boehly has aggressively signed young players, spending over £1 billion on transfer costs. This is part of his overall strategy.

Though only Washington has played for Chelsea thus far, the Blues presently have youthful stars Andrey Santos, Deivid Washington, and Angelo on their roster.
