As part of efforts being made by NGOs and Civil Society groups to end online sex exploitation in Ghana.

 

The Engage Now Africa engages parents and guardians in online sexual exploitation.

 

 

In her remarks,Madam Lydia Ohenewaa led the open forum discussion on online child sexual exploitation and child abuse involving the use of information and communication technology as a means to sexually abuse and exploit children.

 

She was very impressed about attendees of over 200 participants.

 

According to her, the discussion will focused on the merging trends of social media exploitation, sextortion, and other forms of exploitation. The parents and guardians also raised an issue concerning online exploitation, and most parents were excited over this issue raised by Engage Now Africa.

 

Meanwhile the participants were grateful and excited for being educated on such an alarming issue.
