Pre-Tertiary Teacher Unions have declared a nationwide strike effective March 20, 2024.
The teachers are compelled to take action because of the government to resolve critical issues bothering them.
The teachers stated three major challenges they are faced with as reasons for their strike action.
They mentioned the delay in the negotiation of the collective agreement, the lack of a scheme of service and some equally important issues including the inability to conclude on the distribution of the Laptops to teachers.
