According to reports, Pau Cubarsi, a Barcelona wonderkid with an excellent release clause, is a target for CHELSEA to pursue again.
After making his senior team debut this season, 17-year-old Cubarsi has become La Masia’s jewel.

Under Xavi Hernandez, the teenager has already made six appearances, three of which have been as starts in La Liga.
Some who follow Barcelona believe he might even succeed Gerard Pique.
But because of Cubarsi’s release clause, the reigning champs are suddenly concerned about his future.
The center defender is only worth £8.5 million because he last year inked a new contract that would continue until 2026.
Furthermore, according to Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea is prepared to take advantage of the option by activating it this summer.
Before Cubarsi signed a contract with Barcelona last summer, the Blues attempted to sign him.
Chelsea is eager to bring the top young players to Stamford Bridge; they have already signed players like 16-year-old Ecuadorian international Kendry Paez.
Additionally, Blues executives think Cubarsi has the potential to be a world-class defense.
Chelsea is not the only team pursuing Cubarsi, though.
Manchester City may pick up the chase again after keeping tabs on him during the summer.
However, Barcelona is hoping that Cubarsi will keep improving in the Nou Camp.
Boss Xavi commented, “We were joking about him the other day because he seems like a veteran at just 17 years old.”
“He already exhibits the skills of a player much older than his years. He is a fierce player who never gives up the ball and excels at pulling it out from behind.
