The Chelsea owners texted Maurice Pochetino following their poor performance against Wolves.

Following Sunday’s 4-2 home loss at Stamford Bridge, his team was jeered off.

Following Chelsea’s defeat to Wolves, Mauricio Pochettino disclosed that he received a text from the club’s owners.

It’s understood that Todd Boehly continues to back Pochettino.

Since then, Pochettino has faced increasing pressure, but the board is reportedly still in favor of him.

But this season, Chelsea’s owners are asking to play in Europe.

Prior to Wednesday’s FA Cup replay matchup with Aston Villa, Pochettino disclosed that he had received a text message from the club’s owners.

He clarified, saying, “I got a really nice text from the owners following the Wolves game. We’re all in this together!”

Chelsea is now five points out of seventh place in the Premier League and 15 points outside of the top four.

But if they defeat Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final, they can advance to the Europa Conference League for the next season.

During the press conference, Pochettino was also questioned over Thiago Silva’s spouse.

After the Wolves setback, Belle Silva seemed to demand that he be fired, saying on X, which was once Twitter: “It’s time to change. It will be too late if you wait any longer.”

The Chelsea manager said, “He came today to talk with me,” in response to a question regarding the incident. I don’t want to discuss the topics we were discussing.

“What matters is that he arrived and expressed a want to speak with me. We have a very strong coaching staff; you are aware of who I am after over a decade of working with me. He arrived to speak. We conversed. That was personal. That is all.”

When asked if he and Silva still had a close relationship, Pochettino responded, “It’s good. It’s excellent.

“You can see from my press conferences and interviews in the way I was talking about him.”

After their first encounter ended in a goalless draw on January 26, Chelsea will visit Villa Park on Wednesday.

On February 28, the victor of the tie will host Leeds or Plymouth in the fifth round.

Pochettino also responded to the remarks made by the spouse of Thiago Silva.
