Nuno Tavares, a defender for Arsenal, is apparently being pursued by MARSEILLE this month.

But an agreement depends on Nottingham Forest.

Nuno Tavares is wanted by Marseille.

After sliding through the ranks at Arsenal, Tavares signed a season-long loan to join Forest in September.

Only six games hath the full-back made since relocating to the City Ground.

At the end of the season, Nottingham Forest will have the chance to pay £12 million to sign him permanently.

However, Tavares is purportedly amenable to moving on.

And Marseille want to sign him, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

Arsenal is now “100% open” to selling the international player from Portugal in a long-term deal.

Nottingham Forest, nevertheless, is certain that they keep him through the end of the campaign.

Tavares is expected to remain at the City Ground until June as Arsenal does not have a recall clause.

The 23-year-old played for Marseille on loan for the 2022–2023 season.

When he was in France, he made 39 appearances for the Ligue 1 team.
