According to speculations, Thiago Silva, a star for CHELSEA, is in line for a transfer to his old team, Fluminense.

The center back established himself with the Brazilian team, and his outstanding play earned him a transfer to AC Milan.

Fluminense, Thiago Silva’s previous team, is after him.

He joined them on loan from Spartak Moscow at first, but in 2007 he moved there permanently.

Silva, 39, played for Fluminense for 143 games before being acquired for £8.5 million.

However, The Mirror reports that he might be about to add to that total as the South American powerhouses are eager to get the defender back to his native country.

Silva’s Chelsea contract expires in the summer, so it’s unknown what will happen to him.

He might be persuaded to go back to Fluminense after their Copa Libertadores victory the previous season.

But the veteran said that Chelsea might be his last team because he is thinking about retiring.

Silva declared: “My career’s end is drawing near. It’s not simple.

“You have to consider your retirement date, your final club, your family, and the fact that my kids attend Chelsea.

“I’m just trying to enjoy the last year of my Chelsea contract.

Chelsea could lose another defender in the meanwhile, as former manager Thomas Tuchel is eager to sign Trevoh Chalobah to Bayern Munich.
