Police and Creative Arts Industry Collaborate for Safe Festive Season

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, recently met with leaders, representatives, and members of the Creative Arts Industry to discuss security measures for the upcoming Christmas and New Year festive seasons.

The meeting, which took place at the Police Headquarters in Accra, was attended by members of the Police Management Board and prominent figures from the entertainment industry. The stakeholders discussed ways to collaborate and promote security during the festive season, and agreed to work together to ensure that events and activities are held in a safe and secure environment.

The IGP emphasized the importance of ensuring public safety during the festive season, and assured the Creative Arts Industry of the police’s commitment to maintaining law and order. He also urged the industry to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police.

The meeting was part of a series of stakeholder engagements aimed at enhancing police-public relations and promoting community policing. The Police and Creative Arts Industry collaboration sets a positive tone for a safer and more secured festive season.
