In a heartwarming display of support for education, Hon Benjamin Narteh Ayiku, the Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku Constituency, has generously donated 4000 exercise books to government schools in the Ledzokuku Municipality. This significant contribution aims to enhance learning opportunities for students and promote academic excellence in the constituency.
The distribution of the exercise books took place today with various schools in the municipality receiving their share. Dar-Es-Salaam “A” JHS received 320 books, followed by Dar-Es-Salaam Islamic JHS with 225, and Jordan Methodist Basic School with 275. Other schools like Teshie Hedor R/C Basic School were provided with 290 books, Teshie Salem Presby JHS with 640, and Teshie Bethlehem Presby JHS with 365.
Additionally, Marteytsuru Presby JHS received 630 books, Dar-Es-Salaam B & C JHS were allocated 615 books, Teshie Krobo Basic School received 285 books, and Teshie Aboma Presby JHS were given 355 books. The allocation of these exercise books aims to benefit a wide range of schools in the municipality, ensuring that students from various educational backgrounds have access to vital learning resources.
The donated exercise books were warmly received by Mrs Theresa Tetteh, the Municipal Education Director, and Mr Tawiah, the Municipal PTA Chairman. Expressing their gratitude for the generous donation, both Mrs Tetteh and Mr Tawiah acknowledged the significant impact the exercise books would have on the quality of education in the Ledzokuku Municipality.
