The Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, with members of the Police Management Board (POMAB), launched the 2024 Methodist Youth Peace Campaign at the 19th Biennial Connexional Youth & Students’ Assembly of the Methodist Church Ghana, held at the Pentecost Convention Centre, Gomoa Fetteh, on Friday 2nd August 2024.

The IGP, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, as the guest speaker during the event, delivered a talk on the topic “My Story” after which the Police leadership took turns to sign the Peace Banner.

The peace campaign aims to promote peace among the youth before, during and after the upcoming 2024 General Elections.
