Prof. Richard Kofi Asiedu, the Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has mocked the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Wontumi born Bernard Antwi Boasiako.

He alleged that some NPP sympathizers are saying Chairman Wontumi would need an interpreter to understand the kind of English used by Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang during her unveiling at UPSA.

Speaking on Accra-based Onua FM with Nana Yaa Brefo, he said “If you look at the kind of English that was spoken by our mother Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang at UPSA during her unveiling I wonder how Chairman Wontumi would understand.

“Even some NPP sympathizers are saying that Chairman Wontumi would need an interpreter to make him understand the kind of English that Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang used.

“Because the kind of English she used was tough and when Chairman Wontumi reads, maybe he might not read it well and might sound different to him.

He continued as monitored by MyNewsGh.com “And you are telling me to go and argue, at this tangent with Chairman Wontumi, he doesn’t understand this so he’s quite funny”.
