A woman in her forties has tragically died after being reportedly pushed out of a taxi by unidentified individuals. The incident occurred late in the evening of Thursday, August 15, 2024, between Star Junction and Agric Junction in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
Eyewitnesses reported that they saw the woman being forcibly ejected from the taxi, which prompted an alarm from the onlookers. The assailants fled the scene as residents began to shout. Despite efforts by those present to assist her, the woman succumbed to her injuries shortly after they arrived.
The police have been notified and have transported the body to the morgue. An investigation has been launched into the incident, and the victim’s family has been informed.
