WNR: BIBIANI CHIEF AND HIS KINGMAKERS PERFORM RITUALS FOR THE RESETTLEMENT WORKS OF OLD TOWN AND ZONGO COMMUNITY TO BEGIN.

Bibiani chief Nana Ayima Ngoah Kudom II and his Kingmakers has lead some delegation from Mensin Gold Bibiani Ltd together with the contractors who are going to do the field work at the site of the resettlement to perform the final rituals to pave way for the commencement of the works to begin for the people of Bibiani old town and zongo community.

Nana Ngoa speaking with the media that, this is a long due project which was proposed long time ago by his predecessors that these two communities must be relocated as at that time in which some effort was made to build a Mosque for then Muslim community but the rest of the project couldn’t come to past till this time and he said he is much grateful this has happened at his time as the chief of Bibiani and he promised to give out every support that will be needed from his outfit to the mines and the contractors bring this dream into reality.

Nana Ngoah advice them that, they should respect customs and traditions of every community.

He added to it that, they should always seek the green light from Nananom when it comes to land issues because every bear land have owner who is in charge both physically and spiritually.

Again, he gave this advice when the contractor decided to starts work at sit when the rituals was not performed he was chased by dozens of snakes and as a result the Dozer machine was used for the clearing of the land got spoilt and it means a lot to respect traditions.

The contractor told us that, he is going to take all the advice being given to him by Nananom and go by it accordingly.

Some community members of Bibiani old town and zongo revealed to the public that, this a very good news but they pleaded with them that, they should do stay away from delay tactics and speed up things.
