According to sources, ARSENAL is expected to join the competition to sign Victor Osimhen this summer.

After leading Napoli to the Serie A championship and taking home the Golden Boot in the previous campaign, Osimhen is preparing to leave the team.

Victor Osimhen has chosen his course of action.

According to reports, Arsenal is prepared to compete for Osimhen.

The Nigerian forward has been strongly connected to a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea frequently mentioned in the discourse.

In December, the 25-year-old agreed to a new contract with the Italian team.

But because of the rumored £112 million release clause, Napoli will have to sell if the amount is reached rather than holding purchasers hostage.

For CaughtOffside, Fabrizio Romano writes that Osimhen has already decided to look for a new club in the summer because he considers his time at Naples to have been a “great success”.

Romano teases that fans should “keep an eye” on Arsenal while reporting that Saudi Arabia will compete with Chelsea.

Ivan Toney and the Gunners have been connected throughout the transfer window, but the Gunners won’t be moving this month.

It appears that the North London team will hold off on making a move for a new forward until the summer.

Osimhen has already made passing references to relocating to the Premier League and to Chelsea as recently as last month.

A fan wished the striker a happy birthday on X, the original name of Twitter, before sharing a picture of a young Osimhen sporting a Blues shirt.

The caption for the photo said, “Please come and rescue Chelsea soon.”

In response, he posted two emojis of hearts and a prayer face.

In order to represent Nigeria at the African Cup of Nations, Osimhen left Napoli in the middle of the season.

In his three tournament games, he has only scored once.

Once again, Osimhen has shown promise in Serie A.
