Hello, I am a university student in my final year, and I have a story to share about a relationship I entered into in 2020 after the COVID lockdown.
Our paths crossed at my brother’s mother’s shop, where she was employed and also a student under my brother’s guidance. Our connection deepened, and we both found ourselves falling for one another, leading to the commencement of our dating journey. However, our different educational institutions necessitated that we maintain a long-distance relationship. Despite the physical separation, we remained deeply committed to one another, and even though we couldn’t engage in an intimate relationship, I wholeheartedly respected her boundaries and cherished our connection.
However, things took a turn when my brother noticed our relationship, prompting us to make the difficult decision to take a break to avoid potential complications. During this hiatus, I met someone new, and we began a new relationship.
Now, my previous girlfriend wishes to rekindle our romance, having completed her studies. I find myself torn between my past and current relationships, as I’m unsure of how to proceed.
I genuinely care for both individuals and don’t want to cause anyone pain, but I also want to continue nurturing my present relationship. I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice on how to navigate this complex situation.
Thank you
