As part of reducing commercial fires in the municipality, the staff of Nana Kyemi Hotel were educated and trained on fire safety by officers from the Asankrangwa Fire Station.
They were taken through causes of fire, good housekeeping, fire prevention, precautionary measures, and basic firefighting skills.
They were advised to ensure the safety protocols are strictly adhered to by all and sundry and also ensure all first aid firefighting equipment provided are well-maintained at all times.
