Rev . Isaac Owusu-Bempah, the renowned leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International insists he has been contacted by current US President Joe Biden to help him win the forthcoming elections.

Though the televangelist would not disclose further details of his interactions with the supposed delegates of the US President who visited him in Ghana, he admitted on Accra-based Okay Fm that indeed he has been contacted as being reported by sections of the media.

“It is true that some delegates of the US President, Joe Biden have visited me. The visit was for two things and I cannot divulge details of it on radio. The other is to seek my help to enable him win the elections. One woman who has been worshiping with us online ad who knows the leadership of their party linked them to me for which reason they came to Ghana”, he revealed.

The 2024 United States presidential election will be the 60th quadrennial presidential election, set to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.  Voters will elect a president and vice president for a term of four years. The incumbent president, Joe Biden, a member of the Democratic Party, is running for re-election. His predecessor, Donald Trump, a member of the Republican Party, is running for re-election for a second, non-consecutive term, after losing to Biden in the 2020 presidential election.  If Biden is nominated, this will mark the seventh presidential election rematch and the first since 1956. In the run-up to the election, on May 30, 2024, Trump was convicted of 34 felonies related to falsifying business records, becoming the first president to be found guilty of a crime. On July 13, Trump was shot in an assassination attempt at one of his rallies.
